He is the founder and CEO of the Regional Angel Investor Network (RAIN), a network of angel investors that supports early-stage startups in regional Australia. Prior to starting RAIN, Almaliki held senior management positions in various industries, including banking, finance, and sports management. He is also an advocate for diversity and inclusion and has driven significant diversity and inclusion programs and policies as a member of the Cricket Australia management team. Additionally, he has served as a Victorian Multicultural Commissioner, where he worked to promote the interests of Victoria’s multicultural communities.
